Travelling is a very beautiful word for me and I think most people feel like that. Travelling makes us relax and recreate. So, I think the most effective way to recreate our physical and mental is travelling. Whatever, we travel a long trip or a short trip, it can make us to fresh and happy. I am a traveller and very enthusisam to travel. Therefore, I often travel with my friends or family or alone. By the way, I live in Yangon, which is the city of Myanmar. My trip is about an ancient city like Angkorwat in Combodian. But, Bagan is not in Combodia. It is in my country, Myanmar. It is located in Mandalay Region and 500km far from Yangon. You can choose the different transportation system like bus, train, car, plane and ship to go Bagan. I took the bus to get there for 10 hours from Yangon. I arrive there at morning. I checkd in hotel and in the afternoon, I go by bike to view sunset in Arnandar Pagoda. This is amazing view I have ever seen. In the next day, I go around by bike to see the architectural designs, mural paintings, precious frescoes and stone inscription. Bagan is famous for its ancient pagodas, temples and stupas. From 9th to 13th centuries, Bagan was the capital of Bagan Kingdom and long line of 55 kingdons built the numerous and various design temples and pagodas with different reasons. As, Bagan is located in an active earthquake zone, it had suffered over 400 recorded earthquakes. But, about 22000 pagodas and temples are still left undestroyed. So, UNESCO is set Bagan as the world heritage archelogical land. It is about 16 square miles snaking the east cost of the dusty banks of the Ayeyarwaddy River. I also took the boat on Ayeyarwaddy River to see the most admire view of Bagan pagodas. And you can see the beautiful sunset that the sun slowly sink in the river from the bank of river or on the higher places of pagodas. Bagan pagodas are famous for their architecture and mural paintings because they are very unique and glamorous. Bagan is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world. The shape and concentration is highly significant in Buddhism with each component part taking on spiritual meaning. Bagan is a fairytale land who is interested in ancient building and ancient city. I go every temples and pagodas to see the high architecture and unique views. Bagan is also the first place to have transfomed into a religious and cultural centre to Myanmar. It is full of ancient architectural designs, mural paintings, precious frescoes and stone inscription to see from yourself and it is also the centre for the manufacturing of lacquerware products in Myanmar. Hence, it is marked as a cultural heritage of the Myanmar people and a landmark full of ancient pagodas and monuments which can be rearly encountered today. I visited for two weeks in Bagan and I checked out the hotel to return to my home. I took the ship along the Ayeyarwaddy River to Yangon. I got many knowlegdes and happiness from this trip. I had learned the cultur and traditions and had tasted local cuisines. Bagan is the most unforgettable trip for my life and I really want to visit there again and again.
