I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. And i travelled Bali a lot. Why? Because Bali is a beautiful island and its called the Island of the Gods. So many culture, white sandy beaches, blue waves, amazing rice fields. Like it was so dreamy and the scenery was priceless. You would never get bored of the view. And what i like the most about Bali is the beaches. My favorite beaches are Bingin beach which is located in Uluwatu, Melasti Beach which is located in Ungasan, and last but not least is Green Bowl Beach which also is located in Ungasan. With the clear water and the sound of the waves, its really relaxing and perfect for a place to hangout in a daylight. And i also visited the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary which is located in Padangtegal Ubud. Its a place for a habitat of the Balinese monkey. This place is a famous tourist destination in Ubud. And this place also has so many big and tall trees which allowing you to get fresh air. And what about the Balinese culture? So, Bali is a mix of a Hindu and Buddhist religion. You would find Canang Sari or Sesajen lying on the ground in each every store or restaurant. Sesajen is filled with small flowers, food, and cigarette. They put this out everyday is the part of their tradition. And make sure not to step on it! The purpose of doing this is to thank the Gods in prayers and praise. In my opinion, the tradition of Balinese culture is unique which makes me love Bali even more! And that’s not it. And if you like coffee, make sure to check the coffee shops. I’d recommend you to buy Kopi Luwak Coffee because this coffee is originally from Indonesia. The coffee is also very tasteful. I went to see the Kecak Dance which is performed at Uluwatu Temple, it was so amazing. Kecak dance is also called the fire dance. So the Kecak dance is performed by a group of people. About 50 people. The dance is based on the story of Asia’s most famous epic, which is Ramayana with the Hindu and Buddhist teachings. Ramayana has become a part of the cultural life and moral teachings in Bali. And you should know about the Balinese foods because it sure is tasty! My favorite dish from Bali are Babi Guling or Suckling Pig which serves white rice, pork roast, crackers of the pig’s skin and vegetables. It tastes really crispy and delicious. My second favorite dish is Nasi Campur or Mixed Rice which serves vegetables, meat, and white rice but trust me, This dish is really tempting! And last but not least, Bebek Betutu or Smoked Duck. The duck is stuffed and rubbed with a mix of spices. You can get the most delicious Smoked Duck in this restaurant called Bebek Tepi Sawah. Moving on, Wanna know the best place to hangout for the sunset? La Brisa is the answer! La Brisa means sea breeze. The decoration is breathtaking and this place is trendy yet ecofriendly. La Brisa serves smackingly delicious food and cocktails. Perfect place to hanging out with your friends and your family to watch the sun goes down. The moment when i watched the sun sets, it was really beautiful and the colors of the sky was also pretty. You could feel the energy of a true island life in Bali. You would never get tired looking at the sunsents. And if you’re looking for a place to buy a souvenir in Bali, i know just the place. Krisna is the best shop to buy souvenirs. It’s located in Denpasar and i bought so many stuff which is aromatherapy, tshirts, snacks, handbags, handicrafts. In addition, Krisna Bali offers T-shirt with funny and unique design which is only produced in Krisna Bali, and no place else. All the products in this store comes in a negotiable price. Besides a great shopping atmosphere, Krisna Bali also provides parking area for buses and cars. And you can find small food and drink stalls outside the store. So you can relax while eat and drink after shopping. That’s all about my travel story
