June 30th 2018! A date still imprinted in my brains. Every thought of it still gives me chills. This was my first trip, a present from my sister. For my 18th birthday my sister gave me a letter that had a ticket of one videogame event in Barcelona. I was very happy because it was my first event. The event occured in october, from friday until sunday. I travelled on friday afternoon to Barcelona because i had class in the morning. It was my first time to take a plane alone, without any family near, so i was little bit scared but equally excited to adventure alone. When I arrived to Barcelona my sister was waiting for me, i was very happy because i had not seen her for 3 months but every week we did a call by skype. I gave her a lots of hugs. After we took the car directly to the flat. When we arrived we did not have something to eat so we ordered for pizzas by mobile. The pizzas were very delicious, we ate them while watching one film. After that we went to sleep awaiting the "big day" That day, i woke up at 8:00 am, I took a shower, put on my happy day jean, had breakfast. When we were ready we headed for the event. We arrived at the event in time but i was very nervous. As we entered, the first that i saw was a lot of security. Normally security scares people but for me it was a sense of safety. So i walked into the room confidently. "Wow!" There were a lot of videogames on diferrents platforms; PC, XBOX, PS4 . I was in touch with all the cutting-edge technology, i felt like a Google / Microsoft certified scholar, sometimes like Bill Gates' little brother. I was thrilled to try all the games, with every game, my passion for technology broadened. For me, the best part of the event was the videogames on VR (Virtual Reality). I stayed there all day playing one game. The game consisted of different cut cubes on the direcctions with 2 sable, one in your right hand (color blue) and the other on the left hand (color red) with the music. It had the kingship feeling, with every win, i felt like a hero rescuing all the world challenges. That was my first discovery, to take the informatics career. When the event finished, we went to the flat. The next day my sister took me and we went to visit differents places of Barcelona, where i saw amazing achitecture of all times however people were congested. I secretly missed Galicia, the quietness, the sea. It was a perfect timing as that very night i had to fly back home. I hugged my sister, didnt say a word, but in tthe deepest silence, i had said a million thanks for an exceptional first trip, and a new career discovery. Grabbing my coffee, coding now, living my dream.
