I have been a solo traveler, having the most fascinating moments with those impromptu visits to a new destination and the desire to feel free. May sound cliche but the adrenaline rush from scuba diving in the coral reefs in Australia to observing the magnificent northern lights in Fairbanks, Alaska was truly worth my buck. My friends used to be amazed when I mentioned I did no planning besides the round trip flight tickets from New York (because I had a full time desk job to return to). I always wanted to be part of the magnanimity of Mother Nature, even if it was for a short while. I would very much love the opportunity to be a part of the experience that World Nomads offers. It will be a life changing experience for me and will help me make the decision I have been waiting for long, to quit my desk job and take up traveling for life.
