The excitement in your shoes

I want to travel not find the best beach on the planet, but to see as many ways of doing, loving and being as possible so I become the best version of myself. I want to put myself ‘in people’s shoes’ to see that even though my ego wants me to be ‘right’ in every situation, there are always two sides of the story, and I actually can redefine what ‘right’ means. I often repeat the mantra to myself: Being right doesn’t mean my opinion is objectively superior than others’. I am right whenever I am kind. I am right whenever I take time to listen. Whenever I am true to my values. Whenever I respect other people’s opinion and lifestyles. That’s how I want to be remembered. And you? How do you want to be remembered by others?
