A leap into the unknown Cyprus

Well, I would like to start with the beginning of the most interesting of my journeys. Firstly, I flew to the airport of Larnaca city in Cyprus and my curator had to meet me, but he was late. So, during this period of time, when I were waiting for him, I decided to look around and search for other people, that came there with the same goals as me. When I finally found a group of people that was waiting for a curator as me, I was shocked, because there were many people of different ages from 10 to 17. However, we waited for our curator for a half an hour, suddenly I noticed a man, who held a sign with the name of our camp “English Quest Camp”. Surprisingly, he brought us the bottles of a cool water, that we needed because of the hot weather. Actually we were glad to see him, and immediately forgot about his late. His name is Antonius, I do not remember his age, but maybe he is 45-50 years old. He invited our big group to a bus and we went to our residence. If I am not wrong, there was an evening when we came to our rooms. We took our rooms, shared who wanted to live with whom, decomposed our things and went to dinner. As I remember, we are their national food called “Pita”. It is something like a pita bread with a fried pork or chicken, with some cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers and ketchup. Well, the next day we went to our school, where we had different classes. Of course, as a children, we did not want to study much. As for me, not all classes were interested. For example, we had : math, English, PT, programming and history. But I was interested only in English and history, because other subjects were boring and I do not like sport. We had to study five days a week, having two or three pairs every day, except Saturday and Sunday. Despite of, in some ways good and high-quality classes, there was the coolest cafeteria, that I have ever seen. There were many cakes, pancakes, sweets, juices, lemonades and many other things. I would like to say that after the first visiting of that place, I added an idea to try everything that was there to my list of goals for the nearest weeks. So, maybe it is time to write about our trip to the mountains, where we had lived for two days in tents. After a four-hour bus ride we finally arrived at the place. Oh, I can not express all my feelings, because I hated and still hate everything that is connected with mountains and insects. Only imagine, that you are going to cook something and you come to a sink to wash some dishes and ingredients, and suddenly an enormous spider, that is the same size as your hand (My hand is big, o know what I am talking about), falls on you. And everything you think about is how to scream as loud as you can. Because I can not describe a situation adequately, because I have an insect phobia. Maybe it is better to finish writing about a negative side of that journey and start writing about some positive things. Well, the first thing that I liked the most is a paintball. Actually, on this territory was a big place for playing it, and we shared into four teams, but in my team were only four persons, because we were 19 people. Of course, we understood, that we had to be strong and we had to cheat to win. Maybe the main trouble was that in our team were two girls, that were afraid of bruises. That is why I may say that we played together – I and Grisha. Unexpectedly for us, we won all the games. It was my first time playing paintball. Truthfully, I were astonished.
