I fell in love when I reached the peak of Karnala Fort, being in all its royal attire vibe and feelings of past people who would have lived there. So this is a story of where i climbed this robust fort that looks more like a mountain covered with a lot of mud and creepers and white headed crabs. The narrow paths filled with greens all around was the most beautiful path that I have walked on. In between I stopped at a red leafed tree that was the only tree which was of a different color. Others were all green. After walking for few more hours there were all variety of trees found and i was really amazed with nature and its beauty. It is the way it is just beautiful and dangerous in its own being. Finally reaching after a certain time period I could finally view from above the lakes around and the entire village side. There were small white roofed houses visible and to the side lakes with gloomy blues meeting the white sky. It was all like a painting in front of me all set to cast. To reach the peak of the fort there was no plain path I had to crawl on the rocks and although I was injured in between because my foot got stuck in between the rocks I still wanted to climb more because I told myself each time that I came this higher not to just return back from where I reached but to move ahead more and then I sat on the the rock to see the scene that lay ahead of me. It was all silent, cool breeze was passing by and my love was right there in front of me. Then I turned around and started crawling again there were huge stones in between, it was risky because they are weren't stable they were moving as soon as my body weight was pounding on them. Then after few minutes there was a staircase made of stones and the gate to karnala fort was there. Karnala was all still in its firm, fierce and charismatic being. The gate was made of iron bars and sharp pointed needle like iron bars. It was made in a way so that enemies when at night would come to attack most of the people would die at the gate itself because of the way it looks. As I entered I got the feeling of troops of those days who would sit and teach how to fight to save their fort and the territory. It was an intense feeling but it was fascinating. There was a pool of water which would have been there for ages. It had a different smell an old smell of those days. All I could think that time was that of the walls that had been built there and that was still was the one who lived and has adhered so much, seen all the occurings and knows the story of all. I could feel my heart and the same way the place felt exactly the same. And this was the place where I felt the energies of strength and taking care of your territory and people. I was really happy with the decision that I made to have my presence in the fort and it was one of the best memories of my life to feel and endure something so strong and energetic.
