A long time ago, a tsunami hit a little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. All was lost. Until in recent year another tsunami hit again in the Pacific, this time treasure from the unknown island washes up on land. After the crisis of distribution and trauma has settled, a group of young adults while on there gap year find the ancient treasure and go on a quest to discover the mystery of the island by travelling around the jungles of Peru to lost cities in the Jungle. Here they find indigenous tribes that at first are in anger that they have disrupted their lands but after seeing the treasure, they quickly send them to their leader to show what they have. At first he is angry at outsiders to there. Then he inspects the object and starts to cry. As they all only speak in their own language no one knows what is going on. But over time they find a way to talk with one another and the group discover that the leader used to live on the island that no longer is here. He explains to them over a puppet show what happened and they all are shocked. He takes them to a cave where all of the paintings he has drawn from the time he remembers of his homeland. As he was lost at sea when he was young, so many months before ending up on land. Once trust is set between one of the group and the leader he shows something he has been hiding from everyone. He's been plotting a map from the stars to the location of the island. Where he thinks it is. Together, without the speaking each others language, they help each other on a journey to the location where the island may be. Through the journey they go through caves and then out to sea. All hope is lost. It wasn't there. But at night when the sky was clear he looks up and sees the stars are different...but very familiar to the ones he saw when he was a young boy. The moon reflects the water and he looks down into the ocean and sees a glint of something.. he realises he is where the island use to be. Only it's sunk for eternity underground. He crys for his family and all his friends never made it to shore after the terrible tsunami. The next day he goes to scuba diving down as far as he could go to see if anything was still left... There is a crack in the wall of a shaft of rock, he goes in and finds a pocket of air at the top of the cave. He sits goes to the top and there floating on the surface are more treasures from the island. He collects them and goes back to the jungle in Peru. He never finds his home but he visits that place often and still to this day finds trinkets. They have helped him find peace with what has happened to his family and island.
