I travel for the first time to Easter Island when I was 6. I didn’t realize that I was leaving Europe for a few weeks. My mother’s family is from there. My mother is a Rapanui. A native of this little piece of land wich is lost in the middle of the Pacific. That first time, I didn’t learn anything. But in 2016, when I was 14, I learn a little more of the story of the rapanui people, how it was colonized by europeens, and all of the story. In 2018, I return to my little paradise. My sister, who’s guide there teach me more and more about my story, my origins, my family... one of the most important of the island and who helps a lot to develop the island. During all my teenage years I’ve been always wondering me lot of things, but I stayed very curious of the story of colonozition. In 2018, everything in my perception of the world came to change, I began to travel more, in New-Zealand, in French Guiana, in Chile, and in coutries in Europe. I return at the island in 2019 with a friend and we do a lot of party. In 2020, I return there but now I know that every trip at this little piece of land wasn’t only to discover the mystery of the Moaïs and of the rapanui but it was to discover my personnal mystery and to know more about my origins.
