The night sky

A leap into the unknown Algeria

It was nearly sunset, the view was amazingly shining, feeling the wind on both of my cheeks. it was so calm and relaxing view from the glass of the airport. I finished my cup of juice and it was time to get our tickets done. My sister had that responsibility, I was only the package holder, until... the receptionist said that this flight has already taken off minutes ago. It is because we were late and stuck in the traffic before arriving. we started running in the hallways of the airport with my heavy bag on, sort of an exercise with sweats on and breathing intensely. Until it was clear that we had to add extra money to take another plane that is going to land in another place 2 hours far, from our home town. A decision to make but we figure it all out. So, of course, we did pay the extra money for the new tickets and went back again at the reception. The man over there was having a cup of coffee we were late but he kept working so slow with the ones who were ahead of us. At last our check_ in. when he finished, we started running.. again to catch up on the plane before it goes another time. Minutes after passing the security and waiting on the bus, taking our seats and enjoying the view from the side of the window beside me. I forgot about all the adventures that happened earlier with that simple view. The whole sky was shining with stars, in a moment I thought I was in a fairy tale because of that magnificent view outside with planes from all different shapes and sizes that was not it, I had to add a little extra thing to be and enjoy in that present moment so I wore my headphones and played my favorite playlist of traveling at night times. The smell of my loving perfume all over me. then the plane took off slowly and the view got more and more beautiful and clear each time we raised above the ground. I was in a totally different world couldn't believe whether it's a dream or really happening. I pushed my head a little forward so I can get to see the lights down there and good thing I did, I was on the edge of screaming not from fear of heights but the amazing view gathering all up together from earth to the sky and its stars. couldn't feel the time until the pilot said we're landing soon. That trip is still in my memory repeating over and over again, it gave me the motivation to start traveling and writing with joy. Finally there in Oran, it was so late so my mom came to pick us up and go back home. In the car, the same view was there but this time I wasn't watching from the sky, but from the window of our car. The magic view was still there and the stars got shinier and far than earlier( I almost felt like I could catch one of them in the plane.) My mind was still in shock from both of the views, playing my favorite song on the radio. Does it get any better than that? What else is possible now? With my family beside me, I was really grateful for the view, the plane, arriving late, and everything around me. We finally made it back home after a peaceful night road trip. Now every plane I catch I try to take it at night times just to enjoy the stars coming out from the darkness of the sky. And the was The Night Sky.
