Beginning our journey from Yamunotri traveling so far is big patience and seeing the river on the other side is full of tension. Yamunotri, the place where the goddess Yamuna idol is there. The temple is made of black marble that you can see from its outer wall ( Black in color) and sets on the river Yamuna. Within the temple, there is a hot water area where you can put raw rice and within minutes it will turn into eatable rice which is magical and termed as God’s own place. The birth of the river Yamuna is from this place and the water of Yamuna is called ‘ Gangajal’ which is used for the shrine of the Shiva in Rameshwaram Temple. People from the world come to worship and they have the target to do before they die. As it’s said as a symbol of ‘swarg’.
