Some time back at university, there was a banner for a trip to Kidepo Valley National Park. I had never been there so i was very excited and contacted the numbers on the banner immediately. The trip was scheduled during the Easter weekend and we had to travel on Good Friday. We traveled a very long journey and the road was very bad that our bus could not pass some areas with all the people inside. Some of us had to get out and walk on foot for about 3km as the bus was moving ahead of us. We spent a full day without showering despite the too much walking and we reached the park on Easter Sunday with very swollen feet. We walked some parts into the park and we did not even know that we were already in the park territories and we risked walking into dangerous lions. I had never been on a journey this long besides paying for a trip that i really did not enjoy
