No more than 8 years ago I had the amazing opportunity to finally go to the Netherlands, more specifically in a very small city call Beek en Donk. Here in Brazil we had a thought that Netherlands was no more than tulips, windmill and weed, and is much more than that! The air the I had breath, the sound of the wind, the nature in bond with the cities, the sky, the architecture, the way of living, food and the most important thing, the people! All of those were incredibly amazing and different. 12 hours flying, living my friends and family, school, my life, for a new begging made me a totally different human being. People in Netherlands or Holland like they call it are very open-minded and ready to help, so you can miss home, but they will try to make you feel home as well! Is awesome that the dutchess love our most famous sport here in Brazil, my host family and I went to many games of PSV, the very first club of many brazilians soccer plays went to play when they left Brazil! I always thought snow was something soft and comfortable to lay down on the ground and make angel draw with your body, but sure isn't like that everyplace. I had the huge opportunity to do winter sports there, was beautiful, simple, unforgettable and really really fun! But is not just the nature, adventures, and weather that impress people all over the world. The Dutch way of living is awesome. All over the country you will find traveling amusement parks, museums, music festivals, and much more stuff to enjoy. Independent of what will be your career choice you don't need to worry, different than here in Brazil, with you do work hard you will have a nice life, and most important doing what you love! Besides the official language be Dutch, if you speak English or German you certainly will not have any problem there with communication, but remember, they aren't obligated to know English, as we are not obligated to speak Dutch, so be patience and have fun making new friends! One thing that is really important for Brazilians knows, the famous *jeitinho brasileiro* (Brazilian ways), don't catch there, they are really direct and receive a no, or you can't do is really that, respect the elder and the situation if one day that happen with you. I extremely recommend anyone to go there and see what I could see, and experience all of the country have to offer to the world. Now I feel that I always you have to home countries, thanks Holland and all my dutches friends! Tchau, goodbye, doei!!
