Tomaro has been a village 97% of people in the country don't seem to know or heard about which is been located west of Lagos Island in Apapa. I remembered my first visit to the village which was through water transportation...The whole village in the place was been surrounded by water. In this village, you meet different people with diverse languages leaving in this small town. They're blessed with natural resources such as petroleum since it is a riverine area it creates job opportunities for the youth who are into fishing and water transportation. In this village, the people leaving there are into farming, fishing, etc In this small but mighty community, they're also into celebrating their gods in diverse ways by dancing without their slippers on and showing libation to them. The one that got me dumbfounded was the one I saw, when a guy was passing without knowing the gods were coming, this leads to the guy collapsing because they're tempted to touch the boy without the boy knowing who they're or what they were doing, Immediately the chief priest in that village had to go down on his knee to beg on behalf of the boys life after everything that happens the gods touch the boy head immediately the boy stood up and run away... Tomaro is a significant place to be and to also learn about their way of life.
