No one is stronger as a child who's mother is at the grave.Tell me how do you live your life with the person who birth you? It's been more than 7years since the last time I saw my mother.I was still a young boy.The memories are still fresh as if it was yesterday. On December 7 2011 my relationship with my mother was cut short. She met her demise. From that day my life changed completely. My dreams and goals were shattered. It was always my dream to give my mother grandchildren,it was my dream to see my mother watching me graduating but,all of those dreams were cut short. Life is not easy without a mother, you feel like a dead person walking.Sometimes I question myself what does God gain when our prayers are rewarded in pain. As I grew up the more I miss her.I need her in many things in my life. After my mothers death I never thought I'd love any female the way I loved her. In high school I met an Educator who was exactly like my mother. She went on to become my class teacher,I felt home and loved after 7 years. She saw potential in me and motivated me.Took me as her own child. She was very passionate about her occupation and was good at what she did.I remember after matric for months I didn't have travelling money to go to University and she still sent me money every month. That woman my teacher,is a blessing in my life and is still active in my life as a mentor, friend, teacher and mother. Many kids in this world don't have parents and that's an ache that'll never heal.I want to encourage and motivate each and every kid out there who has no mother or father to never give up.It takes a village to raise a child. If you have ever counted how many times a baby that is trying to walk falls, you would lose track.Do babies give up trying to walk just because they fall so many times?NO.They keep on trying.Daily we see what happens to people who give up on their dreams. Those people on the streets once also had dreams but they gave up on themselves. It is the rough side of the mountain that is the easiest to climb. The smooth side has nothing for you to hang on to.
