Our trip to Brazil was the fulfillment of a family dream, a dream that was pending for a long time, and finally we were there, with our feet in the Carioca territory - people or everything that belongs to the state of Rio de Janeiro - and with our dreams in our hands, ready to contemplate the moments that the wonderful city was going to provide us. Rio de Janeiro welcomed us in the best possible way, even at the airport I could see the great sympathy and joy of the Carioca people, from the people with whom I spoke, all had the readiness and good disposition to help others, and the best everything, they are always with smiles on their faces. I could see the same everywhere I went, and I came to a conclusion, the joy and friendliness of Carioca people is the business card of Rio de Janeiro. From outside, the view was fascinating, with paradoxical images, between favelas, historic and modern infrastructures and natural landscapes, I could notice that in all of them there was never a lack of decorated sidewalks, made of stones called Portuguese stones and coconut trees on the edges. Without forgetting the statue of Christ the Redeemer, right at the top of the corcovado, that it is possible to contemplate it even around the city, and at night it has a beautiful luminous landscape, symbolizing a cross. There is also the Sugar Loaf Cable Car, the Selaróm, the lapa arches that are essential to know. The Brazilian culture is diverse, hosting (customs, music, dances, among others), but in all of these there is no lack of elements such as joy and a lot of creativity. Shopping malls are almost always full, and in their stores there are mostly items that invite you to join a more casual and fresh style. The same happens on the beaches, which are always crowded regardless of the weekday, among the most famous are: Copacabana Beach, Ipanema, Barra da Tijuca and Leblon. For Carioca people. the beach is everything, for them, a day with their feet in the beach sand, friends, barbecue, coconut water, caipirinha-typical brazilian drink -, is a won day. And the climate is always in their favor, it seems like the sun shines for them, and it also seems like they reflect that glow in everything they are and do. Every place I went to, I was received with so much love, warmth, much joy, so much hospitality, that I ended up feeling at home, I identified myself so much with that place, that culture, that it was like I belong to that place , it was like I had found my true place. At some moment, I felt like I am in a kind of earthly paradise. And they are intense in everything they are, they live intensely as if they don’t have tomorrow, they have the gift of being happy, the gift of seeing the good in all situations and even more, of contaminate this happiness, after all, good things also can be contaminated. And I was totally contaminated, I didn't return to my country as I arrived, I found there more than I expected, I collected more than just memories, photographs and things, I inherited values, I accumulated knowledge that I will take for my whole life, because traveling is not just moving the body to another territory and to show new views to the eyes, but to take the heart and soul to a higher dimension, open the mind to new things and to enjoy everything intensely. And if one day things don't work out, I'll put my feet on the sand, a good song and dance according to the chaos.
