To the land of rains

I didn't expect to find Pakistan

The morning was extra nice that day but the angry clouds were growling. I reached Murree, Pakistan at 7:00 am and it was like stepping into a heaven. The rain sprays soon welcomed me and couldn't wipe out the huge grin from my face, I had always loved rains and Murree happened to know that. The Mall road stretched far before me with vendors calling my family and I to check the colorful items they were selling. From embroidered clothes to soft toys, I bought everything I found worthy. The next days spent sipping coffee next to the window, listening to the sweet music of the drizzle against the glass. I was out on the streets once again as the rain stopped. Patriata left me speechless and my first ride in the chair lift still makes me feel weak in the knees. I still remember how I felt butterflies in my stomach, flying above all the greenery. A week spent exploring places that smelt like frosted cupcakes and petrichor. I couldn't help loving every bit of it. This explains the reason of my teary eyes when departing.
