… and like that, we reached Kulga. I’ve never in my life hiked before, so yeah, it was quite of an experience I was looking forward to but I never thought it would be so so hard. On our way to Kulga village, we had to climb up a hill. Midway into our paths, I stood there, unable to move and unable to catch my breath. But then my friend told me that ‘it’s either up or here.. because you’re in the middle of a hill. Just take a minute and gather up all your strength and reach to the top at one go. I promise you it’s going to be worth it.’ It took a hell lot of patience and a hell lot of motivation to move forward and when I finally reached there, it was heaven on earth… Beautiful, peaceful, fresh and pleasantly cold. We visited Kulga in the summers but we could still see piles of ice here and there. To like a whole another world there, cut from the outside world. Where people talk to one another and they enjoy the nature and fresh air rather than taking pictures. I went there for two days but stayed there for a whole week so that quite tells the tale..                                                               Kulga, Himachal Pradesh. India, April 2018
