My Travel story Consists of me traveling throughout the UK whilst being Homeless from the age of 15. at face value my appears to be quite daunting, However, this experience actually made me who I am today. Prior to my traveling from hostel to hostel, I was a depressive recluse but when I moved to my first hostel, I made friends and began my career in socializing and of course partying. Over the span of three years, I moved to around 5 hostels all over the UK and picked up some amazing life lessons. Firstly, I learned that not everyone is kind and actually being nice to others can put you in a vulnerable situation. fortunately, I don't use those experiences as a vice to be unkind, instead, it taught me to be wary and access situations before you give yourself to them. Another great tool I picked up on my travels was independence. Looking after myself from the age of 15 to now age 29 has made it so that no matter what I face, I will always be able to take care of myself because for so long I have had no other choice. Moving around and traveling ( i Literally am a gypsy) has been the hardest and the most amazing experience. particularly because I have met so many different people from all over the world. This is a priceless gift, as it has allowed me to have an understanding of and get along with anyone I come into contact with. Traveling and meeting a diverse amount of people from different backgrounds, races, gender, religions really opens up your eyes and allows you to appreciate every bit of humanity Unfortunately due to circumstances, I haven't been able to travel the world as of yet, but i have traveled and lived and experienced some of the greatest people and moments i could ask for.
