Once, several foreigners decided to make a trip to Uzbekistan since they had heard a lot about Uzbekistan, and wanted to find out what was so special about it. It did not take awhile to pack their suitcases, buy flight tickets, get boarded on the plane and fly to a country they knew firsthand, but never seen, so distant and alluring as if they only saw it on TV. They flew to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan appeared under the wings of the plane: so bright, big, with numerous new buildings, canals and rivers, feeding abundantly fertile gardens and fields. Their plane landed at the airport, they passed TSA control and safely left the airport. They walked around the city, looked around and were surprised: even though spring had already come, but trees were covered by something white like snow. They came closer, and there were fruit trees, blooming out white and somewhere soft pink or creamy. And the sweet fragrance was all around the city. Gentlemen admired unspeakable beauty and decided to split and travel separately: one would go for the Uzbek cuisine, the second for craftsmanship, and the third was not averse to discover Central Asian architecture, which this region is so famous for. As they decided, they did so. The first traveled from Karakalpakstan to Ferghana Valley to experience delicious pilaf, juicy shish kebabs, and puffy samsa, which melts in your mouth, rich kabob, sweet shurpa, and tender manti, chuchvara, which more you eat, more you want, but there’s nothing compared to the sweets of the east, he never tried something similar, his admiration had no bounds. The second traveled to all the 12 regions of Uzbekistan and saw with his own eyes how master craftsmen work in different cities and villages and was amazed by the art of jewels and potters, gold seamstresses and weavers, carpet makers, wood carvers and eastern miniatures craftsmen, preserving traditions of their ancestors, creating magnificent items worthy highest marks. There was something to see and to bring home: graceful festive bright suzanne, magnificent necklaces and earrings, amazingly embroidered skullcaps and dressing gown-chapan, wide patterned dishes. It’s impossible to ignore and divert your eyes from all the seen. Well, the third foreigner managed to travel through cities-museums like Bukhara, Khiva, Samarkand and witness beautiful architecture, which is so unique in the world. Majestic madrassas and slender minarets, ancient fortresses and cities that preserved the memory of existed civilizations with the highest level of development, extraordinary beauty of the mosques and caravanserais, where once merchants used to lodge along the Great Silk Way. Majolica and mosaic, patterned brickwork, original shape of buildings, the craftsmanship and talent of the architects astounded traveler’s imagination. Finally, at the end of the trip, they met again in Tashkent to share their impressions, and they were memorable. There were many stories about all they have seen, hospitality and kindness of Uzbek people, multilingualism of the crowd, roamed in colorful eastern bazaars! They agreed on one thought - an amazing country, where peace and tranquility is valued, people of any nationality and religion is respected - everyone here is accepted cordially and favorably, everyone will be given a helpful hand. Their travel was meaningful, they discovered not only sightseeings of the country, but also benevolent people’s heart open to the entire world. Furthermore, satisfied tourists, while departing home, decided on returning here and discovering country from a new perspective – the country of rich opportunities and unexplored secrets of people from all over the planet, and never disappointing adventurers.
