It was a cold hazy mixed with fuzzy day weather, I journeyed on uncertainty to a place I knew little about, a place that my google map could not identify neither was it on the radar, I had to park my car to continue on foot, with my backpack at my back, my mobile phone on my left and my water bottle on the right. I journey like a modern day youth to Apena. It took me an hour before I got to a village square. I was welcomed by a young boy who at my sight ran away, I was perplexed not until I saw the village chief. Fear engulfed me but to my utmost dismay I was welcomed and I got to know they do not have a portable or stream water, a school nor electricity. I took few pictures, I was offered fresh ,robust and quench thirsty fruits. I gifted the young boy who ran away my Water bottle and I left with promises that I was gonna ensure I embark on an advocacy that will solve their shortfalls. I bid them good bye and took a step out of the palace and a leap into reality. It was a dream and I woke up smiling.
