A leap into unknown Rajasthan one of the most wonderful travel destination in the world. Its located in the western part of India. The land of desert, Forts, Palaces, Wildlife centuries, Mountains, lakes, spicy cuisine and colorful art and craft. Rajasthan is a Hindi word meaning RAJA- King, STHAN- Place or Land hence Land of KINGS or in Indian phrase Maharaja, Maharana, Rana, Raja. Its history dates to ancient civilizational times and home to few sites around 4000-5000 years old like Aahar civilization. Its located in the city of UDAIPUR also known as city of lakes or Venice of East. One can see the continuity in history by witnessing old forts like Kumbhalgarh fort which huge walls standing which has witnessed n number of invaders to win it but failed to do so because of its majestic and strong architecture in shape of Indian Water pot. This majestic fort built around 800 years back is also situated near Udaipur city. Let’s start of journey to Rajasthan from one of its most beautiful city UDAIPUR. Udaipur is a 400-year-old city with its beautiful and majestic City palace near banks of lake Pichole on a hilltop. The palace is converted now in 3 parts with major part open for public as museum. It has breath taking architecture with intricate carving inside huge courtyards on pillars and majestic halls used by erstwhile ruling family as their ruling seat. The other part is converted into 5 start heritage Hotel Shivniwas Palace. It has palatial suites with silver- and gold-plated interiors and artefacts.
