Underneath the trees

Making a local connection Netherlands

10371, 10372, 10373... counting my steps with my life on my back, walking towards the unknown. I had decided to travel closer to home in my own country for the first time. Looking for ancient history of my tribe. I had experienced before, that by walking long distances I was awarded with a glimpse into the ancestors worlds. That had happened in a land far away. Now was the time to find a local connection. When it got dark, i went looking for a place to lay down my body to rest. A bird flew over and sat in front of me. When i got close, it took off and landed a little further. I decided to follow. After some minutes, I saw a quiet spot, behind a little river and bushes, safe from people's eye. I choose to spend the night there. As darkness surrounded me, i felt knocking underneath my back. I first thought of rats and got scared. It stopped. Then something squeezed my big toe. That annoyed me. It stopped. You should know, this was my first night in the bush and there were no trees to give me shelter. Muddy motherland of mine. I was at peace for the rest of night. Then the seconds night came. The day had been difficult. All shops and restaurants were closed for new years. It was way past noon untill i smelled food which happened to come from a bacon factory. Opposite the street i saw a man. He gave me food and i gained energy to walk on. Night fell and i was in a forest. Home. For the first time since i had left my elderly house, i was home. Happily singing softly in my warm sleeping bag, I asked myself 'what more could i wish for?' The answer was: 'to see angels.' I closed my eyes. In the right corner a white spot appeared. It got bigger and a face came up of a marmer like ancient greek style man, archangel Michael. Other angels in the back, i saw, with bright white wings, flying. Local? 35 km from where i live. Universal? What more evidence do i need to give?
