Often we want to liberate the hustle-bustle life to the path of the unknown which allows us to escape from the humdrum of our daily life. That taste of redemption is so desirable that we choose to forget our own identity want to be absorbed in that soft silence. Only got rid of the buzzing drum of the uproar and got back into business a few days later, the traveler could not give any momentum, but the tour should reveal something outside of the travel track and establishing a spiritual connection with the locality. At one point in the long Japanese trip, I’ve arrived at Kanagawa prefecture’s Hakone city. This nice small and beautiful city is lying in the south of Tokyo. At 8:0 am in the morning I left the Shinzuku station, a French couple was my entourage then and say goodbye at Hakone Yumoto station as they had their own plan. Hakone is located near the famous Fuji Mountain and all rush here for the mountain itself. But what I discovered there is no less spectacular than Mount Fuji, at least to me! On my visit to Hakone, it seemed like a perfect package. Mountain-lake-adventure-thrill-ropeway-water vessel- earthen tour- what else is needed! It’s a complete package for everyone. We, the tourists often forget the hundreds of tiny pictures in the middle of this mighty Hakone! For example, many may not feel the Hakone Tozan Cable Car. It’s important to know, how people perceive this! Is it a train carrying passengers from the place in the mountains and coming back? Not at all, the story of the Tozan cable car in Hakone is a little different. This is such a vehicle, mobilizing the indigenous living and luring thousands of in and outbound tourists every year. Tourists are rushing here as UNESCO has declared Hakone as a Geopark but isn’t the Tozan car which is supplementing the overall entertainment there! The service of the Tozan cable car continuing ever since 1921 and has been serving as a companion to the daily life of the locals. Living in Hakone, a city of 1,122 people might have been a little difficult, or maybe there would not have been so many people if there had been no Tozan cable car. On one side the car is coming down from Sounzan to the Gora station and the ride from Gora station climbing towards Sounzan station. There is a special crossing path in the middle. In addition to the continuous communication between Sounzan to Gora, another type of communication system is being maintained by this amazing Tozan cable car. Whenever a car arrives at a station between Sounzan to Gora, waiting people are crossing from one platform to another inside the car and thus it works as the overpass! And there is an exceptional opportunity to observe the mindfulness of the loco master. While traveling in both ways, no other staff was seen except the master. During the excursion, I couldn’t have imagined such experience awaited for me where I’ve got the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the folk but to immerse myself in the locality. So Ladies & Gentlemen, sit tight and enjoy the scenic beauty of Hakone, Tozan Cable Car will take you forward!
