We know that travel marks our lives, especially when we enjoy every second and observe all the details. Today I'm going to talk about an unforgettable place and I hope you have the opportunity to visit this place! I'm talking about Ouro Preto - MG, a city with approximately 73,994 inhabitants, known for its baroque architecture. I believe that the dream of all high school classes is to have the opportunity to go to Minas Gerais and learn a little more about the colonial period that the teacher explained so much, and to see Aleijadinho's works with his own eyes. With my high school class, it was no different, everyone had the dream of visiting Minas Gerais, and I, as a class leader, could not let the dream of 27 students die, as many had no financial means to travel alone. In the future, some students could even make this trip, but I would not have the same emotion of being able to travel with the family that we built at school. We traveled 439 km to get to Ouro Preto, and the feeling of stepping in a place where we face several obstacles is inexplicable. The first thing that everyone should do when they arrive in Ouro Preto is to eat that delicious cheese bread with a coffee. So, very anxious, we went to the Aleijadinho museum and were delighted with the Church's roof, all decorated with gold. And walking through the Museum of Inconfidência, we found a wooden floor with a larger spacing, and we found that under the larger wooden floors are buried people who died in the colonial period. I couldn't miss a lunch break and I can say with certainty from the world that the food from Minas Gerais is very good. The Church of São Francisco de Assis surprised us with its beauty, such as: antique furniture, works of art known worldwide ... Finally, Casa dos Contos, where we saw equipment to torture slaves, slave quarters, was very exciting for everyone who visited, in addition, we were able to see coins from all periods. I do not forget to say that at Casa dos Contos there was an exhibition of works on the rupture of the Mariana dam, which was a disaster that occurred in 2015. Anyway, I can say that Ouro Preto - MG is an unforgettable place, and that it was worth every second in that place. The weather was so pleasant that we never got tired of walking around the city. The miners are incredibly welcoming, extremely polite. Not to say that the city of Ouro Preto is perfect, it is important to say that this city has many hills and has no beach, but I say with all certainty that the beauty of that place is worth the trip.
