It was just another evening in New Delhi as we were having our beers, suddenly someone said let's go to mountains and that's when two of us decided to go to mountains unplanned and for first time. Next day we reached Kasaul a beautiful village in Himalayas, it's from here we must have started our trip officially but as our luck dictated we knew nothing of the place and it was a time when there were no google maps and smartphones around. So we started our trek keeping us stocked with minimals and decided to walk on foot to a place called bhuntar which in deep mountains. When we got their after a tiring 20 miles of walk we knew in between that there are buses too for the place but we had decided otherwise, while going through it was a great experience to get to know local communities and this inspired a lot of walking on foot for us till now. After reaching bhuntar it was a 7 mile trail through forest which we had to negotiate and it was already known that it will be dark in one hour but both of us decided to proceed not taking into consideration advice by locals regarding bears and other animals in wild, it's at this time we decided to grab a couple of beers for strength and more walk and then we started following trail which was totally unknown to us and as it was night so no one was on trail yet we negotiated whole trail within 3 hrs and reached at camping spot. It is these times which gives you an idea that how capable you are. The place as we saw next day was spectacular, it was kheerganga. The whole moment was very emotional as well as satisfying for us and the place itself is otherworldly with almost everything present their. I wish everyone could visit this place for themselves and find their own adventure.
