A leap into the unknown Pakistan

A visit to Kashmir entails hardships of long travel extending miles of dangerous traveling through the mountain, so much that even a travel enthusiast might start to wonder and ask himself, is it worth it? Was the hype created for what the place must offer bears any truth to it? And then the questions start to fade away, as the valley starts to unfold itself upon you, lush green and cold, it doesn’t remind you of anything that you have seen before. It simply presents itself as a leap into the unknown, a place that seems outlandish but highly desirable, making it justified to add to the already written stories about the place. Traveling to unknown places often entails a degree of expectation management, a place might just not be able to meet the hype created by your motivation. But Kashmir stands a unique exemption to it, like Egypt with its pyramids, Kashmir greets you with the magnanimity of its mountains. Its streams shall not let you miss the ones in Venice, the tall pine trees bearing hundreds of years in age would resemble the Eiffel in Paris. All it takes is a tough hike through the tilting and challenging roads across the Himalayas and a cup of coffee. Kashmir is nestled at the conjunction of Pir Panjal, Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges, the place offers scenic splendor through its lush green meadows, warm and hospitable people and snow-capped mountains. The place invites you closest to the best nature can offer, with fresh air and the thrill of adventure sports being offered there. From skiing, trekking to paragliding, the place offers a massive range of adventure activities to make the visit memorable and pleasant. Patnitop is one of such places standing out of the visit to the region, it offers endless meadows and the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. Coming from the city life where one is limited by the dull views of buildings and closed working environment, it stands a great escape. A place where you can see the magnificence of nature, with mountains so high that they alter the course of clouds. A place where on a rainy day (as they are more common than you might imagine) a cup of tea in the mountain brings the pleasure no other food can offer in a city restaurant. And the sunlight after the rain is over, where the patches of clouds flow below you in the valley and the mountains boast the newer coat of snow they just received. No matter how expressive a writer can get, some things simply can't be put into words. When visiting Kashmir expect to be surprised, moved and stunned by the beauty of nature. What you should not expect is to be able to capture the real depth of the visit with anything other than your eyes, you must feel it. No picture can tell you how it feels to stand on those mountains, no weather forecast can exhibit the coldness of the weather and the beauty that underlies it. Don't expect to get bored even if you are a lone traveler like me, for the place has many colors to keep you engaged.
