I didn't expect to find Rwanda

MY NAME IS FAITH MUSHIME FAITH am a Rwanda by nationality .in 1994 we our country experienced a genocide my daddy z friend come picked me from a day care told me today is going to be the unforgettable. I was five years old when we reached home I found my all family tired with ropes .I shouted one of them said she is hungry give her biscuits. With a knife they removed all theirs eyes and forced me to eat them. I refused due to trauma and fear. later they raped by mom unit she died .all of them died before me .afterword they become drunk. the neighbor hide me into a water tank.i stayed their for 2 weeks every night she could give me just a banana .she couldn't be killed because she was a hutu the Trible that was killing .they lady was later killed because they came to know she was hiding me...I ran away it was a rainy season.i hide in a drainage many dead bodies were in the drainage.i went following other grown people who were escaping to another country we reached in Uganda but I was a kid no family .I stayed on the street for 3years eating from garbage .I started cleaning plate for people to get left overs and drinking water. later I started selling bottled water .still sleeping on the street no love no family no body but myself.i started going to school yet sleep on the street sell water after school. later I was picked by a woman owe my life .too poor but to loving I was given love for the first time in 7 years .I kept going to school come back we sell water on the street but life was better than before. she taught me their culture. she always told me to don't quit winners don't quit. through hard work and pain today I hold my degree in finance straggling day and night for my masters degree .I clean houses in Poland to get my masters degree. I have a project of self reliance to teaching other survivors that we don't revenge ..we cant stop winning peace love and unit.that is my true life experience in short
