My name is Letícia, I'm from Brazil. I know in my contry there are a lot of unknown places to discovered, but sometimes it's necessary go to distances places to find yourself. When I was 23, I already finished my graduated, so I was a little lost with what I should do in this moment. Actually, I needed to start to search a internship, but I studied engineering, and for this work, it's very necessary speak english, and my english was a kind of bad. So, I decided to travel, and what was my destiny? A small town in the countryside of Wisconsin, I never hear nothing about that city before, I just decided go to there because I got a internship over there. So, I arrived over there, alone, just me, myself and I, no label, no one knew Leticia over there, the local was unknown, but I was unkown too, I could be what I wanna, the place was unknown too, so no expectations, the place would be what I wanna too... A few days later, I met new friends, some americans, some foreigners, with the friends over there the city started to look like a little less unknown... In this journey, I discovered that snowmen just appear at the sidewalk in Wisconsin's winter, the lighthouses can be the most peaceful and beautiful locan than sights, everyone can be a professional photographer or a model if they wanna, beliving you or not, it's possible to keep warm with less than zero degree Fahrenheit... and the Michigan lake looks like a sea, this lake was my own sea for months... I learned about this place, I learned about the differents countries, cultures and religions but I learn about myself, I didn't know that when I arrived, when I decided to make this travel, when you are willing and open to new things, any place is your home, you can construct connections in one month stronger than you can imagine, any place and any people that you meet in your journey can teach you, and you can change them too.. It was my journey of self-knowledge, in the most unknown place I could explore: myself.
