Most young people today have the dream of traveling around the world, discovering new lands and their secrets, meeting people and making friends wherever they go. I ended up getting a taste of what the world can offer and I was barely 17 years old. I've always been a lover and follower of fashion, and I can't hide the fact that spending a month in Paris at the age of 17 visiting streets such as Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré was a dream and it was love at first sight, but not for the reason that I expected. The place affected me before I even arrived. I was always a curious girl, who loves to ask questions and go on adventures and for the first time, I had a feeling that I never had before. Was it because I was going to spend some time in a place where I didn't speak the language? Was it because I was going alone? Was it because I didn't know what to expect from the place? I had no idea why I was feeling that way because I had traveled alone before, at the age of 15, when I spent a month in Spain also without speaking Spanish. I believe that every place you pass tells you a story and I was super excited to discover what Paris had for me. When stepping on the streets of the "City of Lights", I was speechless for the first time in my life. I spent days and days walking around the city observing the buildings in “Haussmann style”, visiting museums like the Musée du Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay and spent an afternoon sitting in the famous cafes. It warmed my heart and made me feel at home away from home. But what was more than special for me were the night walks, seeing the transformation of the city and how it takes on a different personality. In addition to all this, I went to a music festival, made friends that I have contact until today and spent a few days immersed in the world of fashion. When I was leaving and going home, back to Brazil, I felt something weird, as if I was living home to go travel when it was the other way around. Paris. A five-letter word that brings so many happy feelings and good memories made me return a year later, only this time with no date to leave it and what was a leap into the unknown became my home.
