‘Youth likes to wander’ – these words are definitely about my friends and me, because we cannot even imagine our life without travelling. A lot of stories, many memories…, but now I would like to tell you about my favorite one. I was one of those lucky ones who had an opportunity to be the part of students’ exchange program to Poland. Such a sweet days when best of my schoolmates got together and went to another country for meeting new people, learning something new and just for having some fun. We were so excited about it! But before starting telling you about it there are some things you have to know about: Firstly, I should mention about interesting relationships with our driver. He was a kind of specific person and we were not going to be the friends, really. Secondly, we went here with our school’s director. It was a little scared for us at first, but then it turned out him to be a good one! Thirdly, you should know about the one hour difference between Ukraine and Poland. So, a lot of fun had already began on our way here: 15th hours waiting at the border, a kind of sexual movie in our bus chosen by me ( I really did not expect it (and you remember that we were going with our teachers and director!)), buying some alcohol drinks by my classmates in Duty Free… Then we had really great time in Poland! Communication with Polish and German guys, visiting various museums, learning about their traditions and usual life made our exchange program amazing! Even tasteless pizza we were fed up almost every day now seems to be quite Okay. But all our adventures had began on our way home. We were promised to have some excursion in Krakow, but, unfortunately, adults told us that we were not going to have time for it. We were a little upset, but still what were we supposed to do? My classmates together with me just wait our teachers near the bus while they were doing something here. We quickly got bored. Imagine: great weather, a lot of free time, any teachers around, good company. Then we decided to act. Not successfully trying to contact with teachers we found ‘not-our-friend’ driver and agreed that we would have some time for discovering Krakow and decided to return until 4 p.m. Oh, what a great time we had here! We had found new interesting places, spoken to Asian tourists from the USA, bought half the store of unnecessary souvenirs… And with good humor returning to the bus bought some flowers for our teachers, as it was their professional holiday. But we were the only one in a good humor… It turned out that adults worried about us, cause they did not know where we were, were not able to connect with us and could not find us. And no, they did not worry, they were crazy it about! Of course, we tried to explain, asked driver to tell about our agreement , but at first he said that he did not know anything about it, then he ‘remembered’ something , but still we were late for an hour (time zone, remember?, cause we had not then) ! They were so angry with us that had not spoken with us until we reached Ukraine! The first one who tried to understand us was our ‘scared-at-first’ director. And my classmates together with me still do not speak to ‘not-going-to-be-our-friend’ driver ( maybe it is because we had not met since then, but still…). So, full of adventures trip make me realize that all the best situations in your life happen very accidentally. You never know what is going to happen here, but you are the one who can create some great moments here. Never be afraid of something unknown, cause usually it appears to be really wonderful one. Take risks, especially while your travelling, and you will become much more happier, open-minded and your life turns to be very interesting!
