The year is 2002. The Euro has just become the official currency of the European Union. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is playing in theaters. People are listening to iPods and riding Segways. And in Australia, three travel-loving entrepreneurs have launched World Nomads, a global travel insurance product that allows travelers to buy, extend, and claim online, on the road or from home.
Fast-forward 20 years, and World Nomads has grown from two employees to more than 200, and from one happy customer to millions. Here are just a few of the milestones we’ve reached on our quest to help travelers explore the world safely and with care and confidence.
