In comparison to other regions, North Americans know little about travel insurance and have misconceptions about what it is used for.
The goal of Cover Your Assets was to leverage our brand’s fun, young and travel insider-based image to enforce the message that our travel insurance is made to work for the way you travel.
Roberta Korcz, World Nomads Campaign Producer in North America said:
"This was the first time we had relied on video advertising as the sole basis for an advertising campaign. As such, the added challenge was to develop baseline testing for this form of advertising to both determine effectiveness and determine our future video advertising strategy. While this campaign was largely considered a brand awareness initiative and test for use of video advertising, it proved successful from a revenue perspective."
The awards are coordinated by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA) and recognize high achievers in the industry and promote the work and individual successes of organizations engaged in youth, student and educational travel in the U.K.
From creating new and innovative products and programmes for young travelers to outstanding examples of customer service and responding to the needs of these important individuals – individuals that collectively are worth over £22.3 billion to the UK economy each year.
Having grown from a single category back in 2007, these awards have matured in stature and importance.
