Heather is a travel writer, photographer and blogger based in Cusco, Peru. She has been published in BBC Travel, Fodor’s Travel, Matador Network, Thrifty Nomads, Pedacitos, and more. She specializes in South America and loves hiking in the Andes Mountains. Before settling in South America as a writer, she taught French and Spanish in middle schools in the US, Turkey, and Bangladesh.
