How does this affect your coverage:
Please note that our plans do not provide coverage for losses arising from war (declared or not), acts of foreign enemies or rebellion. Be sure to read your plan to understand coverages that may be available to you. You can find your specific plan in your membership portal; it also was emailed to you when you made the purchase. Make sure to read the conditions of the plan you purchased (Standard or Explorer). Plans purchased after an event occurs will not provide coverage for any losses which arise in relation to that event. If you already have a plan with us, coverage may be available subject to the plan terms, conditions, limits and exclusions.
If your travel plans are affected
- We understand this can be a stressful situation for travellers but it’s important to listen to local news reports and the advice of local authorities if you are already in the war zone.
- Before planning travel, we recommend you check the government advice applicable to your policy and monitor media coverage for the destinations you intend to travel to.
- If you’ve not left but already booked your travel and need to change your travel arrangements, please contact your airline, cruise company or travel agent for assistance in the first instance.
