World Nomads recognizes that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an extraordinary circumstance that has affected many travelers around the world.
To help, we are offering eligible customers a travel insurance credit if their travels have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19).
If you’ve purchased your policy before July 1, 2020, had to reschedule or cancel your trip, and haven’t and don’t plan to use your policy, you may apply for a travel insurance credit by September 30, 2020.
You should have been sent your credit application via email. Please apply by replying directly to this email*. If you have not received an application, you may request one by emailing [email protected].

Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel - what you need to know
Please read your plan documents carefully. Cancellations due to fear of travel are not covered. However, our plan does not exclude losses associated with pandemic or epidemic conditions; meaning that if you, your traveling companion or family member were to become sick (after you purchase the plan) as a result of COVID-19, you could still receive benefits for losses covered by the plan.
