Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel - what you need to know.About Coronavirus
We understand that the spread of COVID-19 has impacted your daily lives, as well as your travel plans. In these uncertain times we want to help you to understand the coverage you can receive with one of our World Nomads travel protection plans and how it relates to COVID-19. If you are considering canceling your trip please read your travel protection plan documents carefully. Cancellations due to fear of travel are not covered under the plan. However, our plan does not exclude losses associated with pandemic or epidemic conditions; meaning that if you, your traveling companion or family member were to become sick (after you purchase the plan) as a result of the COVID-19 virus, you could still receive benefits for losses covered by the plan. Please reach out to Trip Mate, our plan administrator, with questions about your coverage. You can also learn more and monitor the situation by visiting www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/coronavirus.

If you contact our 24/7 Emergency Assistance team, they can help direct you to nearby medical facilities. Once you are safe, notify the team if you haven't already, to ensure you are receiving the appropriate care and can get any questions answered along the way.
