Simon is a writer specializing in South American travel. From his adopted home of Colombia, Simon contributes to the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, the Guardian, AFAR, Adventure Cyclist Magazine, Matador Network, Delta Sky Magazine, and others. As well as editing and curating inspirational travel guides, Simon has written about Colombian cowboys, the youth soccer culture in Argentina, and the forgotten Quechua communities in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Simon spends his “vacation time” on the sofa, munching potato chips (mainly twiglets) and glugging English tea.
