Sri Lanka Discoveries: Farm to Table

In the central north region of Sri Lanka, just outside the city of Dambulla, World Nomads’ Mahsa Fratantoni visits a Chennai farm.

Chennai farming is a primitive style that has been passed down from generation to generation, and still practiced in Sri Lanka today. Join Mahsa as the locals of rural Sri Lanka show her traditional cooking methods, and treat her to traditional Chennai cooking. She samples some rustic roti, and a simple, yet delicious fish dish, made with locally produced ingredients.
