The UAE is generally sunny all year, which makes it attractive as a sun-soaked destination for many people. Most people generally travel to the UAE in the winter period from September to April, with December to March being the most popular tourist period, which has an average daytime temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.

Summer in UAE

During the summer period, things change quite a lot. The UAE is generally humid anyway, and in the summer period, it becomes even more humid with temperatures reaching as high as 48 degrees Celsius for prolonged periods of time. July and August both have average temperatures of 41 degrees Celsius, which means that you're going to get lots of days where the temperature is above 45.

Don't think you're going to be able to take a dip in the ocean to cool off either. The sea temperatures near Dubai also reaches an average temperature of 40 degrees.

It's very important to have adequate protection during such intense heat, and the need for sunscreen, head protection, and sunglasses is paramount. It is also vital to keep hydrated to prevent sunstroke.
