Cover for Coronavirus-related events for your next trip abroad
The level of coverage you’ll have for any Coronavirus (COVID-19)-related events under our Standard and Explorer plans will depend on your Country of Residence. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 while overseas, your benefits may include:
- 24/7 access to our Emergency Assistance team, who can help you access local medical care;
- Medical costs including hospitalization;
- Evacuation or repatriation if deemed medically necessary by us and in consultation with your attending physician.
Some of our plans also offer coverage for some additional COVID-19-related events such as cancellation following a physician-certified diagnosis to assist our travelers.

Travel Insurance: What's best for you?
As no two travelers are alike and range from gap year students and backpackers to long-term travelers and families, we offer two options, Standard and Explorer, so you can choose the level of coverage that is right for you. The Explorer Plan offers all of the same inclusions as the Standard Plan, with additional limits and sub-limits of coverage. When you get a quote, you’ll be able to compare inclusions in each policy and download the full policy wording before you buy.
