Before filing a claim with us, you need to check if reimbursement is available from the transportation carrier. There are limits on the amount you can spend, and if your bags are returned within the 12-hour waiting period, then cover may not apply. Also, this coverage is for your outward journey only, not your trip home. So before you go shopping for a new wardrobe, check your policy carefully on the limits, conditions and exclusions which may apply before you buy.
If you need to make a claim, you'll also need to fill in all of the documentation required by the carrier and submit this with your receipts.
