We're excited to announce our three winners!

Meet our winners

Leslie Latchman – United Kingdom
Amanda Garcia - Mexico
Emilia Miranda - Chile

Our winning visual storytellers will travel on assignment to Norway to capture the country’s stunning coastline aboard a Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Express voyage, receive mentoring from the Travel Shooters, gear from Fujifilm and Think Tank, $500 USD spending money from Adventure.Travel and 500kg of carbon removal thanks to Tomorrow’s Air.

We're excited to see what Leslie, Amanda, Emilia create during their scholarship experience and cannot wait to share it with you over the coming months. We'll be posting their winning entries here shortly as well.

Leslie Latchman - United Kingdom

Congratulation to Les for a winning photographic entry. Les captures the movement and proximity of flying gulls, warm seaside light and a carefree, holiday mood that make us feel connected and immersed in this Moroccan seaside town. The image processing, use of color and shooting style across the image set is consistent and cohesive, helping to tell the story. Beautiful work.

Amanda Garcia - Mexico

Congratulations to Amanda for this amazing winning video entry captured at the Venice Carnival. The work demonstrates delicate, nuanced storytelling, with elevated atmospherics and emotion as key subjects of the video. The use of focus, shot angle, subject variation and music, together with beautifully emotive color grading, demonstrate attention to detail and great skill in visual storytelling.

Emilia Miranda - Chile

Congratulations to Emilia for a winning photo entry. The brave and unique stylistic choice of image processing enhances the clean, beautifully composed images that capture emotion with an uncluttered style. The image set from the Chilean seaside is cohesive, yet not slavishly repetitious and we commend your work that shows creative risk-taking, pushing the boundary of photographic technique in the pursuit of storytelling.
