What’s covered if I’m (or someone else is) pregnant?

Pre-trip cancellation before you leave home

What’s not covered for pregnancies

  • Any pre-existing conditions 
  • Fertility treatments 
  • Expenses in your home province 
  • If you simply change your mind to travel

Unable to travel in the first trimester

I unexpectedly became pregnant towards the end of November. I was planning on still going on the trip until my doctor diagnosed me with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. They recommend not leaving the country due to these complications in the first trimester of pregnancy.
